Blue Huarache Finished

Blue Huarache Finished

Here is the final design of the blue shoe I drew. I added textures from the actual shoe and laid them over the top of my drawing with a 50% opacity and I also drew on the stitching which is poorly done due to the fact my mouse skills are not perfect but from a distance the stitching looks fine. I could print this image off a do the stitching by hand and then upload it to the computer again. I now need to add some typography and a background to this for it to be completed.

Edited Drawings (part 1)

I took my drawings and edited the colours on photoshop to make them more of a vibrant purple and blue so that they would stand out more against the background. I do like how these have come out and I will use them as bases for my finished shoes. I will add textures, shadows etc as a next step to finalise the shoe.

I then moved onto drawing another two shoes of the same style but this time round they are the correct shape and look better. I will develop these drawings on photoshop and add stronger colours and textures to them. I am happy with the outcome of these drawings and will use one of them on my final poster design.

I took the image that I created in my last post and I changed the colours to make the shoe look like an actual shoe and a more aesthetically pleasing design. I stuck with the monochrome colours on this one and then I added shadows and a few details such as the stitching and the bumps on the side on the shoe. Now the shoe is finished compared to the last one it does now look a lot better. I am happy with the majority of the design and think it looks great but I think I could improve the structure of the shoe because my drawing was a little bit out of proportion so in my next drawing I need to sort that out and make it look less.. bulky.

This is an edited image of my drawing that you can see in my previous post. I edited it on photoshop by adding shapes to the image to build it up, I made each of the different shapes different colours so that I could exactly know which part was what. You could also say at this stage of the shoes development I have used inspiration from Charles Williams using loads of different colours to build the shoe up. My opinion on the shoe at this point is I don’t think it looks that great. I know it’s only at a beginning stage which is okay because I will develop it more but at the moment it doesn’t look great which you would expect from an unfinished shoe. I chose to use photoshop to develop the shoe instead of developing it on paper because it is easy to go back and change anything I want or need to without having to completely start over. Plus photoshop has tools that I can use to create effects which would be very difficult to do by hand.
